Senior Awards

FMTA has two Senior Awards that are given annually to the seniors who have earned the most points from grades 1-12 and grades 9-12. Both of these awards are open to any senior who has participated in the requested events. The two top students will be awarded a plaque and check.

FORUM SENIOR PARTICIPATION AWARD

This award is given to the top student who has participated in most events, grades 1-12. The minimum number of points to qualify for the Participation Award is 25. Please submit estimates to the chair by the date of the March meeting (3/5/2025). Go to the Teacher Dashboard to complete the form online and submit it no later than April 4, 2025.  Any late form will not be considered. It is the teacher’s responsibility to make sure all of the information is correct and be able to verify, if necessary. The winner will receive a $150.00 check and the runner-up will receive a $75.00 check.

FORUM SENIOR AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

This award is given to the top student who has participated in most events, grades 9-12 in the performance area. Please submit estimates to the chair by the date of the March meeting (3/5/2025). Go to the Teacher Dashboard to complete the form online and submit it no later than April 4, 2025.  Any late form will not be considered. It is the teacher’s responsibility to make sure all of the information is correct and be able to verify, if necessary. The winner will receive a $200.00 check and the runner-up will receive a $100.00 check.

FORUM SENIOR PLAQUE

This award is given to any senior who has earned at least 6 points on the Participation Form. That student must be a TMTA & FMTA Student Affiliate member.
