The Forum Music Teachers Association is organized and operates exclusively for educational and professional purposes within the meaning of Section 501 c (6) of the Internal Revenue Code. The corporation’s activities shall be directed to the improvement of professional conditions for music teachers and shall be for the promotion of the art of music and the advancement of musical knowledge by disseminating the knowledge of musical activities and the appreciation of music.

The Forum Music Teachers Educational Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 c (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All activities of the corporation shall be educational and shall be for the promotion of the art of music and the advancement of musical knowledge by disseminating the knowledge of musical activities and the appreciation of music.
