FMTA is a professional organization dedicated to connecting music educators in Houston and surrounding communities. We are committed to enriching the lives of our students and giving them the best musical education possible. Members are able to connect with other music teachers in the area, enroll in student events, and participate in meetings and programs.
While primarily piano teachers, our membership is open to all instruments and musical disciplines.
FMTA hosts approximately 10 student events each year. All events are open to students of FMTA member teachers.
