The Houston Forum Young Artists Competition is open to advanced students, with registration limited to the first 165 entries. Repertoire requirements are announced separately by the chair ahead of the event.

Checks must be postmarked by April 1, 2026 to count, late entries aren’t accepted.
Teacher Requirement
Teachers entering students are required to work at this event. Anyone unable to fulfill their work requirement must notify the chair in advance and pay $150 with at least one week’s notice, or $175 with less notice. Emergencies should be reported to the chair immediately, the fee may be waived with approval from the chair and president.
Repertoire Requirements
Brochure and repertoire requirements will be announced by October 7. Contact the coordinator directly for the individual registration form and full details once available.
