Forum Auditions is a solo piano performance event judged individually against a numerical standard from 1+ to 4, rather than in direct competition against other students. Judging is consistently rigorous, meant to challenge students and teachers alike toward their strongest musical potential. It’s one of Forum’s signature annual events, held each December at the University of Houston.
