The TMTA Student Affiliate Original Composition Contest invites students to submit an original musical work for judging at the local level, with strong entries advancing to the state competition. Entry is open to students who have already passed the required theory test for their grade, and every submission is evaluated on originality, structure, and craftsmanship. It’s one of the more advanced offerings within the Student Affiliate program.
