Eligibility: | Any piano student enrolled as either a Junior or Senior in high school who is currently studying with a Forum member. |
Required Repertoire: | Three works from at least two contrasting periods. |
Registration: | Each entry must be submitted on a 3” x 5” note card using the format below: |
Front of card: | 1. Name and address of student 2. List of pieces and composer 3. Year in high school |
Back of card: | 1. Name and address of teacher 2. Telephone number of teacher |
*Audition times will be sent at least one week prior to the contest and absolutely NO CHANGES will be made after that time. If you are aware of any possible conflicts the teacher must notify the chairman no later than two full weeks before the date of the contest.
TEACHER REQUIREMENT: All participating teachers are required to work at this event. Teachers who are unable to fulfill their work requirement for any reason must provide an advance notice to the chair ahead of the event, and pay one of the following applicable fees:
$150 with at least one week’s notice or $175 with less than one week’s notice, or no notice.
Teachers who are unable to work due to an emergency must notify the chair immediately, the fee may be waved with the approval of the chair and the president.
